"The Shot Heard' Round The World" Gene Sarazen's most famous golf shot at the 1935 Masters . Gene Sarazen made a double eagle on the 485 yard Par 5 Fifteenth Hole to tie Craig Wood. He later won in the 36 hole playoff on Monday to become the 1935 Masters Champion. This painting was done by one of the most famous and talented golf illustrators of our time, Dom Lupo. This famous artist happens to be my father who has entertained us with many golf instruction books and articles, The Rules of Golf and the original painting of the "Golf Immortals" in the World Golf Hall Of Fame to name a few..
