A photo opportunity with Brett may also be arranged but cannot be guaranteed and should not be assumed. Brett Sterling was rookie of the year in the American Hockey League in the 2006-2007 season. He also led the AHL in scoring in 2006-2007. Brett was named a first team all star in the AHL in 2006-2007 and again in 2007-2008. Brett was a member of the Calder Cup Championship team/Chicago Wolves - AHL Champions 2007-2008. Brett Sterling is currently a rookie with the NHL Atlanta Thrashers and led the Thrashers in scoring with three goals and two assists in the recent 2009 pre-season. This hockey stick is game used and autographed. It is from Brett's 2006-2007 AHL season when he led the league in scoring. Brett and his father Bill Sterling have generously donated this item to the Hoover High School eBay fundraiser. The winning bidder will be the proud owner of a hockey stick from an accomplished young hockey player with exceptional prospects as an NHL player. The auction also includes two tickets to the Kings vs.Thrashers game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb 18, 2009. All proceeds from this charitable auction will go to Hoover High School in Glendale.
